VIRTUAL EDUCATION

The virtual education allows the student to have more autonomy and flexibility in his learning process:
• Allows eliminating schedule’s incompatibility problems.
• No more inconvenient about transportation.
• Each student organizes and plans his study’s rhythm according to his interests.
• The learning is to be applicable to the professional and working field.
The evaluation system consists in a series of tests and participations in on-line discussions, some of them mandatory and some others by choice, that allows the student to carry on the assignments, by respecting, at the same time, others students’ learning style and time availability.

THE VIRTUAL CAMPUS

The virtual campus is the principal tool for interaction and learning through the multiple activities that take place in it:
• Access to the academic programs’ documentation.
• Comments’ and experiences’ sharing. Questions’ resolutions with tutors and partners in the forums and discussions.
• Access to the programs’ bibliography and informational links. In addition to this, the student will receive the programs’ printed material.

DESCRIPTION

Professional Master’s program that leads the teacher to develop the necessary skills to teach English as a foreign language, not only in relation to the teaching practice in the classroom but also in work fields like the design and elaboration of teaching materials, planning, centers and courses’ management, editorial activities, teachers’ formation, etc.

OBJECTIVES

• To adapt new ideas and strategies to the real context of the teaching professional practice.
• To familiarize the teacher with the current linguistically focus.
• To innovate in the teaching practice.

MODALITY

Entirely virtual.

METODOLOGY

Pedagogical model were the student has a high degree of autonomy when it comes to planning his activities. The contents and works related to each assignment are made according to directions given in the virtual platform, which will be the place for academic interaction.

• Teachers of ESL / ELD and ELL in primary and secondary schools, and adults’ programs.
• Professionals in other related fields that intent to work as teachers of English as a second language.
